Charlotte Amelia Poe is an English writer and artist living in Blundeston, England. In 2018 she won the inaugural Spectrum Art Prize. Her work is deeply personal and oftentimes emotive, discussing issues relating to autism, mental health, gender and sexual identity, and the self.


Charlotte Amelia Poe is a self-taught writer and artist from Blundeston, England. Her film 'How To Be Autistic' won the Spectrum Art Prize in 2018 and was exhibited in the Saatchi Gallery. 

Her work is often deeply personal and emotive, exploring autism, mental illness, gender and sexual identity, and the self.

Her first book, ‘How To Be Autistic’, will be released in September 2019.
